Re: Complete : Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI WRC, Tamiya 1/24

Thanks all for the nice comments. I built this kit a long time ago and converted it to Rally Finland. I remember it fought me all the way and I was glad to finish it. You made a lovely job of yours, be proud, it's not the easiest kit to build, Tamiya quality, but quite tricky to paint and assemble w...

Complete : Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI WRC, Tamiya 1/24

Hello All, The Mitsubishi Evo VI WRC project is complete!!! Kind of a modern-day miracle, one may conclude. Regardless of divine intervention, I did manage to bring it to the finish line. Being a WRC car, and especially gravel spec, I didn’t make everything perfect and polished. My intention with th...

Re: WIP: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI WRC, Tamiya 1/24

Hello All, First let me apologize for largely haven fallen off the face of the earth this past year. Life was very busy, and had limited time for personal pleasures. I managed to scrape out a little time here and there to work on my project, the Mitsubishi Evo VI WRC , but at the expense of updating...

Re: Alclad and klear kote

I've been successful in using Alclad Aqua Gloss over their Chrome and HPA. Used it on an S27 MP4/26 and turned out pretty nice. I was able to polish the gloss coat to a very smooth finish. Just have to take your time and keep the surface clean and smooth.
Cheers,
Chris

Re: WIP: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI WRC, Tamiya 1/24

Hello All, Progress on the Lancer Evo. VI WRC has been slow, as per my normal m.o., however there has been progress made, so let me share where things stand. I am coming to the end of the “Planning and Preparation” phase of this project, which means all the parts have been removed from the sprues an...
