Ethanol (96% though slightly lower available at other countries sghould work) is your friend. Totally harmless to polystyrene :D Yes I wanna know the paint too. I am also thankful to Revell. I don't remember the name of the manufacturer of the rims I got on eBay, however they are made of resin and fit perfectly with the original tyres, there was also an internal upgrade available which however I didn't take since I made it curbside... Nice job! The resin wheels may have come from Brian...

Have you used any product to disassemble the parts without damaging? I have some old kits I would like to restore but I'm afraid to break parts. Time ago I remember a member that used an ultrasonic machine to remove paint and parts became disassembled It depends on what are they glued with. Totally...
