Re: Safety pull ring

Hi I took a while before I could look into it, but here is a selection of close ups that may help you. Some are from a CK, since they are quite similar. Re: Wanted - Tires and wheels for Tamiya Ferrari 641/2

Hi

Replacement tires can be ordered from your Canadian Tamiya distributor (Borgfeldt), They are the same as the ones used for the FW 14B and are still available.
I've ordered two sets earlier in 2016 and it went OK.

For the rims, they maybe still available. But it might also be a longshot.

Re: 1982 Ferrari 126C2 Long Beach reference pics

Hi
Last picture is in South Africa.
Ferrari dealer TAK on the sidepod is the clue.
The T car in long beach had the same bodywork around the front suspension but was not used on race day ( maybe during practice, would have to check that).

Re: 1/12 Protar Ferrari 126C2

The stability of the rubber (or synthetic rubber) seems to vary a lot. The tires on my kit date way back to the early 80's and they seem fine, no adverse reaction yet. One of the things that helps is to put spacers under the chassis so that the weight of the kit does not transfer to the tires. Other...
