Re: Paint Cracking - M@r!b*r* Fluorescent Red
With Derek on the mixing of paints. Just not a good idea and more often than not causes issues. Anytime you are unsure indeed do the testing with spoons. Another thought to this cracking is if the paint was fully mixed up. Came across this using MR Color Neon paints on some MotoGP wheels. Cause for ...

Re: MotoGP 1/12 SUZUKI GSX-RR 2022
Love the Zuzuki. Thanks for posting the info on the colors too! Am researching and preparing for this build. Top Studio just released a detail set that I plan on getting. FYI I have seen others use magnets instead of the screws on the fearing. Something I want to try. But for now I have been just pu...

Re: New Moto GP Forum section on F1M
Super cool to have MOTOGP threads! I have been building F1 for a long time and my friend turned me onto the Tamiya MOTOGP kits.
They are now the most fun I have building models. You can keep it out of box or go crazy with detail and still get awesome results

Re: Beemax 1/12 MP4/4
Want to ask given a choice what kit would be better the Beemax or the MENG? OR what other MP4/4 option would be best?
I haven't built a MENG or Beemax kit before.

Re: Preparing white metal question
What do magnetic tumblers do? In short the Magnetic tumblers are a great tool to clean white metal parts. Instead of having to clean each part with a brass brush you can use the tumbler. If you do a lot of multi media kits it is a good tool to have. Visited a friend and used his and was quite impre...

Re: Ebbro Tyrrell 002 1/20 Scale Stewart
Super build!!!! At first glance this is not a car I would think would look this good. You changed my mind about this car for sure.
Like that you listed the paints and such too. Do have one question about the rivets, were they added or part of the mold?
Thanks for posting!

Having built the 1/20th scale of this car I had to read through from the start. Enjoy seeing the fine work done so far.
This is one cool looking car and in 12th scale should really look awesome.

Re: Help with MFH vac form parts
Think wew all have had to deal with clear plastic or Vacume form clear parts and scratches. Future floor wax mentioned does a OK job at hiding fine scratches and adding the appearance of real glass. Several YouTube videos about it. Simply polishing with micromesh can give you great results. Nerve ra...
