Hi, All looking good, the work on the bargeboards is worth the effort,I,m a little surprised S27 did,nt supply the "razor teeth" as photo-etch. Looking forward to the rest of the WIP.

Re: MP4/8 adelaide complete
Gary,
Well done on the MP4/8 you,ve made the finished model look very atmospheric.
What red did you use as I need a good substitute for Tamiya TS36 which is hard to get in the UK.
I,ve still have four McLarens in the to do stack!
All the best,Alex

Re: BRABHAM BT48 PRESS DONE ;)
Hi Manu, As ever a fantastic job on an unusual car, makes me want to go and by one! The paint probs on these Brazilian kits and low production stuff are down to the quality of resin,I,ve found through some bad experience that if you seal the resin with an "etch" primer this does the trick, ...

Re: newbie intro
Hi, Don,t know where you are in the world but the best bet for a 1/12th kit is from Tamiya, they have re-launched many of the classis cars,ie,Lotus78,Honda272 etc with improved decals and some photo-etch. There are lots of super detail bits available also but at a cost. If you are having trouble betw...

Re: Water puffs whilst spraying....Need some help!
Hi, You really need a water trap on the compressor and also an in line water filter on the air brush hose line. With Alclad try and spray as if you are "brushing" ie one pass at a time. There is a bit of a "knack" to Alclad but once learnt it is fine. Hope this helps,Alexp

Hi, fab job,the seat belts are impressive and from some angles you would think it was larger scale.
I think BBR castings are the best out there in all scales.
