Re: 1/20 scale Lotus 63 resin kit
As the maker of the kit maybe I can answer this question. You are correct in thinking that the Tamiya engine is oversize. The Ebbro versions are closer to being accurate. The engine for the 63 was made undersize in order to accommodate the thickness of the resin bodywork. A larger unit could be fit...

Re: 1/20 scale Lotus 63 resin kit
Hi Steinietrabi - I may have asked this before, and slightly OT, but is the Tamiya DFV the correct size for 1/20? Malc. Checked the the Ebbro engine and the size is almost the same like the Tamiya one. I don't know exactly where my drawings come from, but you're right of course. I can't say 100% wh...

Re: 1/20 scale Lotus 63 resin kit
I also wanted to try to recreate the engine and made a first print after creation.
Unfortunately, I discovered that Paul's version is significantly smaller than a standard 1/20 DFV.
As comparison, the Tamiya DFV, mine and Paul's version.
So back to the drawing board...

Re: 1/20 scale Lotus 63 resin kit
Some more Detail up parts for the Lotus...
- Radiator
- Brake Disks
- Calipers
- Steering Wheel and Rod
I decided to recreate a few visible parts.
It's a first print test from yesterday. So far the parts look good.
I'll definitely make a few adjustments and a few more parts will be added, too.

Re: Minardi M193 1/20 Decal
I have now vectorized the decals and will add a few additional logos.
As soon as I'm finished here I would do a first test print.
I will keep you up to date.

Re: Tires/Wheels for Ferrari 412T2 1/12
Using S27 parts as reference is dangerous, because they're not exactly famous for accuracy but these look pretty good :-) They seem quite wide though, but that may be because of the perspective setting of the software. You need a point to start with. I corrected the widths and also some minor adjus...
