If I was inclined to do a large scale 917, I'd go with the MFH kit. It has much more detail even at 1/12th scale. The Pocher kit is way too toylike for my taste.

Sadly not going this year but I've been there twice before and it is an amazing experience. Much more crowded the second time I went 2022 as opposed to the first (2011) but still a lot of opportunity to see historically significant race cars close up. The influx of new cars particularly in GT is making this year more interesting for the WEC. It is also helping that the Toyotas have very significant competition this time around for overall wins. Hopefully the LMP class won't turn into a Porsche romp and wins will be spread among the manufacturers....
