Tamiya Ferrari 312T3 1/20
Hello.
For my next project I'm going for the tamiya Ferrari 312T3 kit scale 1/20
I just was wondering what to do with the Chromed parts. Because I like the gloss so
I thought to just clear coat them, add the decals and then clear them again.
Or should I consider other options.

Re: Tamiya Sauber Mercedes C9
Looks nice! Just one suggestion: I notice you haven't glued on the flat cover at the front. I'd suggest to do this, fill the seams and paint the front again, since on the real car, there is no gap there, and due to the scale it always looks a bit wrong when you put on that cover only at the end wit...

Re: Tamiya Sauber Mercedes C9
It has been a while to post my updates and progress on this model. Next up was to check the body fit. Post_C9_1.jpg Seems in the rear I glued a PE-part a little oblique so the rear body doesn't fit excacly. but that can be solved. Next up the body got its inside color and several other parts were pa...

I use ultra glue from Mig now. it dries up clear and has some settling time.935k3 wrote:I use PVA(white glue) for attaching etch details like the brake disks
before I used superglue but that settles to fast and leaves residue.

Re: Tamiya Sauber Mercedes C9
It has been some time as I slowly progress with this one. Experimenting with PE parts. But it doesn't always seem to go well with these parts. So engine has been mounted onto the chasis, front and back brakes, Drivers booth. I us the PE parts if it works. The rear wing construction will be done with...
