For larger models a very acceptable approach is to buy something like a Badger auto detail/touchup gun. Works quite well in the 20-35 psi range and the whole system can be had for well under $100 at a good auto finishing shop.

It's driving me nuts, I have great shots from Iphone/Ipad, however when I go through the major required resizing I just cannot maintain resolution.
Anybody have any help, I'm all ears

Coming down the home stretch.

Actually, while I secured some low melt solder, CA medium worked quite well.
The pics don’t show well but the frame sections polished up quite well, looking very much like polished aluminum, using only 000 steel wool, with bright paint to cover the small glued joints.
