Re: 1/8 Diecast Ford Mustang Repaint

How do you keep dust from settling on such a large piece, do you have a spray booth big enough? Hi, yes I'm doing quite a few resprays for the same customer at the moment, all 1/8 metal bodies. I have constructed a much bigger spray Booth for these models. It's nothing special, but it has an air in...

Re: 1/8 Diecast Ford Mustang Repaint

The body has now been painted in the Zero Paints Candy Purple, just need to add the stripes that will be silver, then a final clear coat and it will be finished.

Here are all the pieces off the body that are now painted in the Candy Purple. https://i.postimg.cc/mZy4XrwF/IMG-20190513-184329.jpg Still needs the clear coat to be added after a light sand. Hopefully will have the main body section fully sprayed in the next few days. Chris http://www.wardsmodelbui...

I just use a varnish and paint remover from my local DIY (hardware) store. Brush on a few hours later it washes right off. Bit a wire brushing for the remaining paint.

1/20 Studio 27 Simtek S941

Here is another customer build, this is the Roland Ratzenberger Simtek S941 from 1994. Standard build straight out of the box, using Zero Paints Simtek purple and Black. Just the seatbelts are a add ons. https://i.postimg.cc/bNC7HC0P/IMG-20190505-155614.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Dzd55mVG/IMG-20190505...
