I have both the original Protar kits in white styrene. (Apparently some were molded in red as well). The 179 kit has GoodYear rain tires, and the leading edge of the rear wing is straight. The 179C kit has Michelin slicks, and the leading edge of the rear wing is sort of delta shaped pointing forwar...

Very nice, Dave! It was a shame to lose ANY 1/12th kit maker, especially one who tackled some rather obscure cars. I have seen an MG 1/12 version of the prototype 6-wheel Ferrari F1 car for sale (four front wheels in "dualie" configuration on the REAR). It was going for crazy $$$ though. H...
