Oh Malc. I must have ordered and tried innumerable 'wires' to re-work those pipes - why do wire manufacturers describe their products as soft when in reality they are harder to bend than bridge girders? I can't find here in the UK solder that is thick enough - 4mm. I like your suggestion of the mill...

I'm in the thick of this model too. Must admit I haven't gone quite as deep as you have with corrections but I'm keen to get it to some semblance of accuracy. My main problem/worry is the exhaust system - it just will NOT FIT. Have you tackled this?
