Re: R.I.P. Ted Toleman
I will always remember the Toleman team’s dominant 1980 F2 campaign, the TG280 Hart, penned by a young Rory Byrne was a beautiful as it was successful. It was that ‘80 Euro F2 title that convinced them that they could take on the big boys in F1. We were all the better for it!

Re: Senna - Netflix series
I agree with James B, the Senna film was a bit bizarre in its Senna & Brazil against the world bias. It would be nice to see after thirty years a proper assessment of Ayrton. IHO he was a brilliant talent, but he corrupted the racers ethic with his thuggish on track antics. Had the FIA put the c...

Re: is this the end?
I agree that they should go. My concern is about that prospect of little bits of shattered carbon fiber littering the track, although punctures haven’t seemed to be a big problem yet, I suspect if the the aero devices continue to grow it will become a issue. This wouldn’t be the first time aero has ...

Re: Tyrrell 006 Monaco 1973
Absolutely breathtaking build, big congratulations! I always loved the 005-006 Tyrrell’s, I remember well watching the ‘73 Monaco GP on ABC’s Wide World of Sports. I had the good fortune to meet both Jackie and Francois at the 1971 & 72 Mid-Ohio Can-Am’s. The program’s they signed for me remain ...

Very beautiful build, I have the kit and you have set the bar high!
I always loved the looks of BT45C even though it only raced twice. It was a bit of a stop-gap while Gordon Murray redesigned the BT46 once he realized the original surface cooler design, as pretty as it was, simply didn’t work.

Re: Villeneuve and Pironi Documentary
Happy New Year all! Watched it last night on YouTube (with the Eastern European subtitles?). I found it beautifully done, they interview everyone involved with Didier & Gilles and the archive footage is tremendous. For those of us who are old enough to remember that era it’s a must watch, and ev...

Re: Villeneuve and Pironi Documentary
Like a few others here, I don’t have Max, and will wait until it makes it to Blue Ray, DVD, etc., however I am very interested in seeing it. I remember watching GV in the halcyon days of the North American Formula Atlantic Championship back in the mid-seventies, the competition was fierce and the ta...

Hoping for the 1973 Peterson Monza winner also, been begging for a 1973 late season 72E for years. Sadly probably another red car with a black horse logo again…

Re: is there something more exciting to watch than MotoGP??
It was a great MotoGP season and Pecco is a deserving back to back champ. I love Jorge’s riding style, but he was just a little less consistent than Pecco, and that made the difference. I’ve followed F1 since I was seven (I’m sixty-one now) and it’s become almost unwatchable for me. I don’t know wha...

Re: Which is more likely to happen at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix?
Oh trust me, I know all too well what a pain in the ass street races are for the locals. I used to go Motown for F1 when it was downtown, my in-laws are from Detroit, they're more than happy to describe what a pain that was.
