Re: 1/12 MFH Porsche 917 LH
Great body work and re-engineering. Fascinating. Great idea on the rod magnets. I wouldn't expect that amount of work on the 1:1 car much less a 1:12 scale replica. Now we know the rest of the story on what to expect and be prepared for on these MFH kits. If Tamiya can get parts fit right in plastic...

Re: Gravity colors order problems
Oh, I forgot to mention I went through the exact same experience. Took the money, showing order is filled, or out for shipping. USPS tracking shows nothing ever sent to the post office, just mailing label generated. I went through this over a year of BS. Not worth the aggravation. Just move on.

Re: Gravity colors order problems
They ripped me off big time, reported them to BBB, then promised my product or refund, bunch of excuses and got nothing in the end. They suck and should be out of business. Order from GC Spain, very happy, very quick even with the import.

Re: Ronnie Peterson and his Lotus 72's
Besides all the many technical differences pointed out, the graphics on the JPS livery changed quite a bit from iridescent gold in '72/'73 to a solid yellow as did some contingency decals on the front wings for '74-'75. The 1/20 MFH kits of the Lotus 72E and 76 capture this quite well.

Really sad news. Mike was a credit to the hobby and talented. A good guy to deal with too.

Dave was a rare talent and a credit to the car modeling hobby. He and his work will be sorely missed. A tragic loss.

Very sharp! I have this kit too, very striking design. What color yellow did you use? Looks spot on.
