Re: JV Ferrari 126C2 - San Marino MFH 1:12
Has been a long time since last post but thought to close the cycle and post a final update. I finally took the time to finish the Ferrari a few months ago. The model made gold and best automobile at local IPMS nationals. Sorry for the small pictures but I can't do more at the moment with the KB lim...

Re: Clear coat for tires?
I apply a light coat of metal primer on the sides, then decals, more metal primer, followed by flat clear and washes. I took several times the rims in and out without a single crack. I believe the primer provides the necessary base and flexibility for not cracking. All are tamiya laquers.

Hi Paul,
Very educational, now I know in detail how my airbrush works and can make better use of it. Thanks for taking the time and effort in creating these videos.

Re: 1/12 Ferrari 330P4
Looks like I'm missing these parts. From what I can learn from the manual, there should be a .5 mm PE sheet with just these two parts, but they're not in the box. Does anyone have experience with contacting MFH for replacements? Great work Marcus. Those PE parts should be pre-inserted into the rear...

Re: Ferrari 126c2 side panel colour
I used tamiya buff x-57 but didnt like it, then mixed it with just very very little of park green and very little of flat white I had on hand and that did the trick for me, just like the color on my reference pics. You could also check the colors used by the tank guys.

Re: Windscreen surround (rubber)
I am not sure if this will work as I have never done it myself, but what I would try is using a very thin electric cable (phone line, modeling pipe, computer electronics, speaker cable, etc.), take out the wire and cut a line through the rubber or plastic, then insert and glue into the windshield. Y...

Re: A new MFH kit
Comparing to their other 60's F1 cars, this has wire wheels and seat cover, that might explain partially the higher cost but it is still high. I really like the high detail of breaks, engine and area around the radiator but those huge rivets on the side of the body are just awuful and make the whole...

Nice work Turbo! What’s the gold color for the cam covers? Looks spot on.
