Apart from his racing career (ex Formula 1 driver, Le Mans winner and Targa-Florio outright lap record holder) he talent spotted Sebastien Vettel. I think he has at least a vague idea about success.

Don't know this to be true, but was told by a friend in Japan that Tamiya was not able to get a license for the TS050. Strange since they do the RC version? I see that Studio 27 is doing the car in 1/24 so maybe that limits them? There could be several reasons for Tamiya not (yet) going for the TS0...

There is a need for Porsche 935K2 decals for the Beemax kit. There are a couple options listed as coming soon at Spotmodel but what I would like do are the Interscope, Dick Barbour Racing and Brumos cars. I think Tamiya may hold back until the end of the 'Super Season'
Toyota is leading the Championship and will possibly/probably win the next Le Mans anyway, so I think Tamiya won't resist the chance to build potentially 3 options
(2 LM winners and probably the 'Fuji' car if it wins that round)
