Re: Pocher Porsche 917
Slightly off topic, but does anyone have accurate schematics/plans/diagrams for the engine mounting 'cage'? The MFH castings inevitably get deformed in shipping, and I'd like to re-build mine. (been meaning to ask this for, like, a decade! I was originally going to solder it way back when, but at t...

Re: Remembering one of the Greats
Indeed one of the worst days i remember, the whole weekend left a bad taste in F1 history with Barichello`s crash, Roland Ratzenberger passing on Saturday in a terrible crash and the race itself with Senna crashing. I remember this day as it has been yesterday, can`t believe it is 30 years now! His...

Re: Slow connection
Seems like the slow connection is back since yesterday. Loading the page takes "forever" in today's terms. Easily a couple of seconds. Just checked 13 seconds for a page refresh in a pm conversation with a single message!

Re: MFH for April 2024
If we take the reasoning from MoFo ... and this is indeed the Olympic park in Rio, then that Olympic park has been created for the 2016 Rio Olympics. Wouldn't we, by that logic, be looking for a car from that period (2016-2024), not something from before then? Something that has some sort of connect...

Re: MFH for April 2024
Well. I don't think that squiggley line has anything to do with a particular track (as in it is not a curve on a track). What I think is that that logo is based on the company ICI. Now take that and run down all the cars that they sponsored that had a mostly yellow body, and there you have it. Easy ...

Re: Thread/Posts etiquette
Well. I've seen it happen as well and I mean, if it is unsolicited, it's highly questionable but it also depends on how or what is done. Like say I see you post a detail you're working on and I might feel inclined to suggest "how about doing it differently, like so". Doing that, maybe a ph...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024
I just saw on bookface that apparently Kyosho is doing a few new.. die casts (1/12) in 2024. Among them is an F40 Competizione and a Shelby Cobra 427 S/C Spider. Pricing on that F40 is quite steep to be honest (989€), but will have to have a look at in person. The photos don't really convince me as ...
