Re: The road to Le Mans 23` 100th Anyversary
Are they showing them full lenght after the race? I remember in the past that you would only get snippets here and there. But the full 24h coverage was gone in some dark archives. If they are showing it on yt live, I might have to look for the stream URL and feed it to my server so it can record it....

Re: The road to Le Mans 23` 100th Anyversary
Hoping to be there for the anniversary in person. It being the 100th running plus having the big manufacturers duke it out in the top class is another huge selling point for me. Planning the route to get there atm trying to fit in some sightseeing. I'm a bit torn as the things I want to see would ha...

Re: How much paint? Switching methods
I agree. I usually buy more to err on the safe side. If you run out while painting I'd say that's a big snafu, especially when happening mid part or something. You have to order again, wait, and - depending on when you ordered the last bit of paint it might actually be a while and maybe a slightly d...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
Just ordered mine for 114,95€ including shipping. They also got the Tyrell 6 wheeler, Tyrell 003 and the Lotus 78 for less than 100€. Bargain sale That's the shop I was looking at. However, I have not yet ordered. Besides, not all of the kits are super cheap, the Abarth for instance is above averag...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
On fleabay (.de) it can be had from 135€ (incl. shipping) via google's shopping listing it can be found for 115€ (again incl. shipping) which I think is pretty solid. Tha aside - have any of you checked the exchange rates of the yen vs euro (potentially the same for yen vs. pound or dollar) recently...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
Nice "available from May", 129€ sounds like a good deal, considering the 8c Monza versions tend to retail for less than the msrp, so we might be looking at 120

Re: Beemax McLaren MP4/4
In terms of (large scale) cars I can (only) think of the GT40 from Trumpeter/Magnifier and Meng kits and the 312 kits from Tamiya and Protar. In terms of other topics, i.e. aircraft, armor, smaller scale cars or Star Wars there are loads of cases of more than one manufacturer releasing a kit of the ...

Re: MFH 1/12 May
My wallet has been saved as well . I like me a Ferrari, Phil Hill, Le Mans car BUT after taking stock and tallying up (bit eye watering really) of my stockpile a few weeks ago I had decided to go only for the absolutely must haves from then on - and this isn't on that list.

Re: MFH 1/12 May
Well.. could still be the 250 GT SWB competizione from 1960 (or maybe 1959) or the 1962 250 GT Breadvan (which would be a nice oddball) or the 275 #6885 Tommy mentioned above (though yellow?? not going to go into my display cases for sure if that's the car we're seeing here). Also not checked on the...

Re: Ferrari 312 B3 1973 1:12
Oh that is indeed interesting to note. Shows I haven't bother to unbox the 312B yet. I was under the impression the 312B, 312T and T4 share the same sprue, so I could do one and copy it a few times. Alas no.
