Re: Who will place second in the 2023 US Grand Prix?
I would love to see that (seat switcheroo) or something like a race of champions type affair. Both get the same car, preferably not one they've driven before - or one where they get to drive it for a day to adapt to it - and then are racing against each other. But maybe one person is faster in terms...

Re: 1/12 Lotus 99t NUNU
The tires in the Lotus are better but not by much. The two kits both have ugly ass screws holding the suspension arms on so that is a wash. The MP4 IMHO is the better and more complete kit. The detail up set for the Lotus is nice but the CF decals should have been included with the base kit. I will ...

Oh wee, and I'm here for less than 10 years apparently. Kudos for bringing this about. It happens to be among the first 3 pages I open on starting a new day...

Re: Ferrari F40 LM 1/8 Centauria
Wow, Bodo, those outside shots look like the Rene Staud pictures from 1987/88 of the F40. Perfect. This interior shots not so much - no F40 was ever built that well :D You've done an incredible job on a my favourite car. And I didn't even know the racing version existed as a kit, let alone as a 1/8....

Re: Look for Meng McLaren MP4/4 in the wild
I wonder, what would happen, if the model is released without stating it is a Lotus, rather some madeup name, maybe supplied with an "alternative" (=made up) decal scheme or some generous alterations to the body (with an update kit from someone to fix it to be the original - if you catch m...

Re: MFH 1/12 for August.
Hm, based on the colours and the grooves I had though Honda RA300, but those rears only have 7 groups and it's showing 8 here. With the 512S I'm counting 9 grooves. The RA273 has 8 grooves. But that has been done by Tamiya aeons ago, so maybe not. MFH already released the RA300 a year ago now! Did ...

Re: Meng vs. Italeri
Well the Lotus is 1/20 so likely a considerably smaller box size, actually according to the interwebs it's about the size of an A4 sheet of paper (29x19x7 cm). So with that in mind the box is not nearly as bulky as a 1/12 Tamiya 910/934/935/T70... Matter of perspective really

Re: Meng vs. Italeri
Dry fit looks pretty damn good to me. Also kind of a neat idea to use the spots of the actual screws or fasteners or whatever they are for the location pins.

Re: MFH 1/12 for August.
Well, yes, I did :(. But that aside, the rear tire does not match the number of grooves on a RA300 tire anyway - although the MFH kit hast the same amount of grooves, maybe different race... It does, however, match the amount of grooves on a 1970 Alfa 33/3 as of the Le Mans movie fame. And since the...
