Re: U.S. grand prix

I have been away from the forum for a spell, so I am late in posting, but I was in Austin at the USGP. We had awesome seats in Turn 12 and enjoyed every minute. While I been following F1 since the late 1960s, it was my first live show. I am 79 years old, so it was probably my last. The total experie...

My simple reaction: There goes a "Master Model Builder!"
You truly provide a lesson in patience, planning and applied skills.
Thank you for the superb demonstration and keep it up.
I will follow you to completion even though my skill level is but a fraction of yours.

Re: Wooden skid plank decals?

I can second Paul as I have been using wood veneer for the skid plate for over a year.
Bought a 8" by 10" sheet for $3.99.
It will easily provide over a dozen skid plates for 1/20 scale cars.
Give it a try.

I am certain that this topic was discussed before, but I could not find any references. It seems that the best model magazines are published is England, obviously in English. They cover separate publications for military models, armor, ships, aircraft, etc., but could not find one specializing in au...

Piping and electrical lines

I model in 1/20 scale and see that outstanding finished projects on this forum has detailed plumbing and wiring. There is no information on the instruction sheets, nor could I find a general article in my magazines. Can anybody point me in the right direction on how to install plumbing in general, w...
