Dave Charlton's LUCKY STRIKE Lotus 72
This past week I received a kit I have been looking to get for awhile. A Tamiya 72D 1/12th scale. This is too me is the kit, that took Tamiya F1 kits into a new realm of detail for their Big Series of kits. Gone were the mechanical toys and now you were given a truly great platform to model a iconic...

Re: My 72D Gearbox with help from some friends!
I am working on this same aftermarket item. I noticed you mentioned this as going onto a Lotus 72D. I used a combination of the resin and plastic parts from the Tamiya 72D to build the tranny for that racer. Your Hewland is certainly detailed and well done, but you might find that some of the parts ...

Re: Dave Charlton's Lotus 72
Interesting facts, for sure... It so happens, I am working on this very car as I write this. My first F1 attempt in many years. I recently ordered the IndyCals decal sheet for it. My 72D is an old junker that needs some TLC.. I would post pics, but I haven't figured out why my girlfriend's laptop w...

Dave Charlton's Lotus 72
I am wanting to build a version of the 72 you very rarely see..........Dave Charlton's Lucky Strike Lotus 72. I have checked and see Indy Cals has the decals for this. I have the most recent re-pop w/PE from Tamiya.......1/12th. I have spent since Friday researching the web and have found most of th...
