Hello:
Has anyone in the US ever ordered from Raccoon Web Shop? I am not familiar with them but saw something they have that is out of production. I have dealt with Hobby Link and they are very professional with their order system.
Thanks,
Jerry

Re: "THIS IS THE END..." of an era. What you think?
James, I'm sure alot of people thought Formula 1 cars from the 70's looked downright ugly compared to the 60's versions, what with aluminum wings, sponsor markings all over the place. I don't care for the modern cars. MP4/23 in affordable 1/12 scale would be my choice now. My choice for the last of ...

Re: For Sale or Trade
I bought a Brabham BT49C transkit from Derek at a reasonable price. I received the kit within 3 days. So, don't hesitate to buy from him.

Did the seller advertise the kit as complete? If so, then you do have legitimate complaint. Contact the seller and if he/she doesn't respond then file a complaint with ebay.

The only set I know of is the studio 27 detail set that is out of production. I am looking for a set myself. Maybe the Icon guy is doing something like this?

Re: 1/12 Tyrrell P34 parts on Shapeways
The seat looks excellent. Now if someone could duplicate the rain tires then I can build the Japanese GP version. Maybe after a couple of beers one can attempt drilling all those holes in the Tamiya seat?

Great idea you have here. It looks like an old style bumper car. Maybe you could make several and create old rivalries from past like Senna vs Prost or Mansell vs Senna. Or even Piquet vs Eliseo Salazar.

Re: BEST silver/chrome for Vodafone Macs?
From my experience with airplane models, alclad makes a chrome finish that might work. You have to paint your model gloss black first. Here is a link to a guy in Canada who made a 1/32 P-38 where he used the chrome finish and you can go from there. https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showto...
