I found a paddock photo, probably taken on Saturday. Note the metal band that is used to hold the skirts up to prevent damage. Rain tires were usually used when moving cars from the Kendall Center to the pits and back for extra ride height due to gravel and poor pavement.

Here is a photo I took as Ickx and friends entered turn 1 in the race. It was a terrible day for taking photos. I am one of those yellow slickers in the grandstands in the photo JamesB posted. You can see clearly Ickx didn't have front wings. Maybe someone can id the size of the wheels from this. Mark
