Re: Tyrrell 019 scale 1:20 conversion
Thanks Jaykay!
I never knew about the Rothmans deal, and why they kept the blue and white livery. Every day is a school day!
Looks like these decals will do the trick.

Tyrrell 019 scale 1:20 conversion
Hi all, I've not been on here for a long time. Life and stuff got in the way and I lost my mojo for modelling. However I haven't been idle. I've still bought some F1 kits for my stash but have been building aircraft models more the last few years. I do have an F1 project that I want to build as a pr...

Re: Zero 2k clear over Mr.Color Paints
I've sprayed zero clear coat lacquer over mr hobby and it's been fine. I haven't used the 2k for a while but it's the same base coat thinners. I used to use the 2k but prefer this clear coat lacquer as it's pre thinned and I can polish ok too. For me it's the same without all the mixing quantities.

Re: Fish eyes
I only had this once. I used a syringe to mix quantities of the clear coat and had fish eyes... Apparently the rubber or silicone inside the tube contaminated the mixture

Re: McLaren mp4/2b 1/20 Aoshima/beemax
Very nice, I've got this kit in my stash as well as the MP4/2. The number decals are too small on that too. I have ordered Tabu decals for both and compared, these are much bigger and the correct size. I was wondering about the tyres on this kit? As they are the same is the michelins from the 1984 k...

Thanks for your reply, it's made me more confident to try this out myself in the future. Good luck with the books, I'm sure in that format they'll look stunning,

Re: FIRST WIN Michael Schumacher, spa '92
This is of the highest quality! Fantastic. Have the images been photoshopped? In particular wheel blur or have you done this on the kit/diorama? I ask because I made a post a few months ago about trying to achieve something without photoshop very much like your post here. If so this is the first one...
