Re: WIP: Lotus 49B - G. Hill - Mexican GP 1968 - Meri Kits 1

The Lotus 49 was indeed mastered by Vincenzo Bosica, the kit was cast by Meri Kits. It was in the seventies that both started out. Bosica also did a Brabham BT33 that was issued by FDS, along with a Ferrari 126 CK. Meri Kits started in the seventies and kept the 49 available until about 8 years ago....

I thought the same. Newey must be a small in size (but huge in deeds). In this month's 'Motorsport' there are several article's on this subject!

Re: MFH 312T4 is Finally Coming!

Ooops, what just a single 0 can do.

Todays price equivalents: 144,62 Euro, 187,47 USD or 116,02 GBP.

But most dealers can do better, check them!

Re: MFH Yamato

Japanese have a thing with the Yamato (I guess what the British have with the Spitfire and Italians with the GTO). More brands like Tamiya brought out a kit of this ship. Tamiya did the Yamato in wood as their very first kit and redid it later in plastic more than once.

Re: Tameo Kits? Paint included?

Tameo did suggest many years ago to use Rituchin spray paints. They even offered them for sale. I suppose shipping is now forbidden.

I was quite impressed when (in 1993) I wondered in the Monza pits and saw mechanics use Rituchin paints as well. How close can you get?
