Went into local branch of the "The Works" and saw 2 Mclaren books peofiles of James Hunt (softback) and Ayrton Senna (hardback) rrp £65 for both and I got them for £18 . Excellent photos looking forward to reading them. Might even get going on my MP4/2 Beemax again

I think the car ran in this format for Monaco and Detroit (?) Seem to remeber somewhere that the mesh on the intake trunpets was different. sorry not much help.

If you want o matt finish thin the oils paint doen using white spirit. To keep a semi gloss finish use genuine artist turps. I fing blue black windsor an newton is just the business for washes on engines. all the best
