Re: thinning TS paints...

I've used decanted TS after over a year sitting in a Mr Color bottle and it was fine. The pigment settles to the bottom but all comes right after a shake or stir (don't we all?)
I added a little Mr Levelling Thinner and it was fine.

Re: My Suzuka Trip 2015

Hi Chris, bet it was a great trip! I love Japan and although the I've never been to Suzuka, I have done a wee bit of research in case the opportunity ever arrives. Where did you stay? Did you make the trip up from Nagoya each day or somewhere closer? Also, did you make your own arrangements for accom...

Re: Ferrari 553 F1 - Atelier Car Model

Welcome Max, and thanks for posting your work. It is beautiful!!
You are turning what looks like a nice, but basic kit, into a true masterpiece.
Lovely job in such a small scale, and your scratch built details look fantastic.
:D

Re: Pledge Floor Care for a finishing coat

This is one of those love it, hate it things. I've used it in a very limited way. I do not use it as an undercoat for decals because I use lacquer paints and any lacquer paint is incompatible with Pledge. This is really a product you have to experiment with to figure out how you can use it. Good Lu...

Re: Singapore Hobby Shops

Media Mix model shop is in Singapore, but I have no idea where. Let us know what you find, as I may be going to Singapore myself before the end of the year. Cheers Tania oops, just Googled them and their Facebook page says they are internet only :( I was sure they used to have a "bricks and mor...

Re: Tameo Ferrari 312P 1969

Both very well done Tania. Which other Chris Amon cars do you plan on building? I have quite a few myself. John Let's just say I painted 7 or 8 sets of wheels in gold! I've got a number of Amon kits in various scales and when I was painting the Tameo wheels, I figured I may as well paint the other ...

Nah, I know at least a couple of other "hers" who would rather be at Spa than in a spa. :) :D

Re: Tameo Ferrari 312P 1969

Well this build hasn't exactly raced along (Russ is putting us all to shame with his incredible build speed!), but these two are finally complete. I've just put the finishing touches to them, and I'm calling them done. I'll post some more photos of the build progress and some decent ones of the comp...
