Shocking, isn't it?Eagle wrote:What ARE those things, a buildup model release coming out? how big are they, they look HUGE!
I posted on a maritime forum as I thought they were about 2 metres, but it's the wide angle lens. Thought to be Tamiya Yamato warships (750mm) 1/350th.

They should sort the Fiat 806 release out first! They've used the Mefistofele tyres, which are totally incorrect. I've yet to get a reply from them over this matter, so I feel it's my duty to inform prospective purchasers of this issue. BTW, I'm hoping to produce more accurate tyres! ;-) http://i208...

Re: Any upgrade parts for the 1:12 Mefistofele made?
Robert, I have the 'Photo Etching' book (number 36 from the Workshop Practice Series). Unfortunately, unlike all their other books; this one is total crapola!!! I'm hoping to respoke the wheels and make the radiator shell and carbs in brass. I can't honestly think of many useful PE parts that would ...

Re: Scratch built 1/8 Aston Martin DBS
Nicely made model! I'm surprised though that with all the development work he used what appear to be Revell 1/8th Corvette tyres! Number plate font is wrong for a UK car, but overall it looks stunning!
