Re: NBC F1 coverage for 2013
Hobbs, Matchett & Varsha? Seriously. You've never seen proper F1 coverage if you think that threesome is any good. Torrents are your friend. Nothing tops Sky/BBC coverage. It's not even close. I think they're fantastic. Assuming the only way someone could like them is out of ignorance is ridicu...

Re: ICE(CREAM)MAN IS BACK!!!
For some dumb reason, I was a Kimi fan. I'm excited to see him back, but being a Nascar fan as well, I was hoping he would continue racing here in America on tracks where I watch closely.

Re: 1/25 Plymouth F/C
I am working on this kit right now. Yours looks good. What all after market stuff did you use? I got some gorgeous wheels from micronitro, a very good pulley set from scalereprosplus, and a few other things. I got that same set of wrinkle walls too, but I'm using them for another dragster I started....

Re: Tamiya 1/12 M23 - Seam
Well, once more thanks. I'm still learning all about this wonderful Formula 1 stuff. The masking certainly seems simple enough. I was more worried about painting some of the spots in there that are sort of blocked once built.

Re: Tamiya 1/12 M23 - Seam
Flemming, Thanks a lot. I'm not sure I understood every single bit of that. I might have to read it a few handful of times. Incredibly gorgeous Yardley you built. I came across it several times in my research and it's definitely inspired me to consider doing a 73 Yardley rather than a 74 Texaco/M@r!...

Tamiya 1/12 M23 - Seam
I'm just starting the M23. As you know - if it's built per instructions, a seam will result from the top half and lower half of body being put together. I've seen this topic mentioned but it's always brief without much of the detail explained. I want to build the body first, eliminate the seam, and ...

Re: Isn't F1 a bit of a joke these days?
I started watching F1 in 2003. I'm an Amercan and such I spent the first 28 years of life never hearing a peep about it. Nascar as popular as it is, isn't really a main stream sport either. And F1 doesn't even get a mention. 8 years ago I would've probably told you the Indy 500 was a race on the F1 ...

I am a golf professional in Virginia. I wish I could make models as well as I can play golf. If anyone needs any help with their game, give me a shout. -Brad

Re: New to Modeling
Welcome to modeling. Hopefully it becomes an addiction for you as has me. I started thinking I'd do one, and one turned into two, and two turned into one hundred. I will add that the Tamiya acrylics airbrush easily and awesomely, but are just awful when painted on with a brush. Don't wait til about ...
