Re: What is your latest model purchase
I've bought the first issue of Formula 1 - the Car Collection, a fortnightly partwork that includes a magazine and a 1/43 diecast F1 car. Out in the UK, don't know about other countries. The first issue has Senna's MP4/4, quite a decent model, especially for the cover price of £2.99. I also bought a...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2016
Hmm, Shizuoka coming up soon - anyone heard any rumours? I don't think there's anything on HLJ's Shizuoka pages relating to new F1 cars so far.

Re: What is your latest model purchase
My latest buys include a Tamiya 1/20 FW11 from Kingkit (UK-based second-hand kit specialist) for a decent enough price. Also got a 1/144 Revell Tornado, Dragon 1/72 Challenger tank, and AMT tiny Trade Federation Landing Ship (Star Wars Ep I) at the same time.

Re: What is your latest model purchase
I received another box from HLJ with another couple of Fujimi McLaren F1s (West and unmarked red/white cigarette livery), plus decals for various 1/20 Lotuses (102B, 107, 107B).
From Kingkit I received a Revell 1/25 Peterbilt 353, and AMT 1/25 Tri-Axle Gravel Trailer.

Re: What is your latest model purchase
I've been spending like mad lately, but mostly aircraft and armour. I did receive from HLJ Fujimi's 1/24 McLaren F1 '95 Le Mans winner and Gulf versions, and Shunko's 1/20 FW11 decals. Plus from Creative Models, some Revell US big rigs and Revell's 1/24 Blower Bentley.

Re: Eoin Young RIP
If you've never read his autobiography, "It Beats Working," do yourself a favour and get/borrow a copy. You won't regret it. It also clears up any confusion over the pronunciation of his name.
RIP Eoin.
