Re: 1/24 Jordan 191 - Hasegawa conversion
Thought about how to make the valve covers. My scratch-building skills surely come to an end when I look at the badges on top of the HB. PE parts would have been a way to go, but I´ve never done that before and it seemed too much work and too expensive for a one off. My first plan was to build the c...

Re: AMD 1/20 Benetton B190
What a beautiful Benetton! Looking at today´s poor F1 cars, I miss that great, colourful livery.
Nannini had some great races in 1990. I wonder how his F1 career could have developed, if he hadn´t that terrible accident.

Re: 1/24 Jordan 191 - Hasegawa conversion
While the monocoque isn´t really finished, yet, I thought about the model being curbside or not. The 192 kit has the 12 cylinder Yamaha and the 191 had the Ford HB, which is nicely replicated in the Tamiya kit. So with the Tamiya parts at hand and in the right mood for some scratch-building, I thoug...

Re: Anyone else getting spammed by Alphamodel?
I was already wondering, if I am the only one who is annoyed by this advertisement flood. This guy seems to spam each and every forum. It´s the same at Automotive Forums. ..., I will not buy, simple Yes, same here! My first thought were, they have some quite nice kits, but now I´m so annoyed, I don´...

Re: 1/24 Jordan 191 - Hasegawa conversion
@CK Thank you very much for your drawing, that´s a helpful addition! @Denbo Thank´s a lot for your offer, but I will stick to the Tamiya kit as a reference. I made a very tiny Excel which converts the 1:20 measurements to 1:24. I even thought about buying the wave kit, but judging by the pictures I´...

Re: 1/24 Jordan 191 - Hasegawa conversion
Thanks a lot guys! @Hein I will have a look at your conversion for sure! Maybe there´s something useful for me to learn. @bossy + Tim I know about those Tamiya toy kits, but they are hard to find, expensive to get and might be to small. Right now I´m trying to finish an E36 racing car and wil...
