Dearth of Tamiya 1/12?
Hey guys, trying to get back into the hobby and am surprised at the lack of 1/12,F1 kits(tamiya) available ,anywhere. I'm equally surprised at some of the high prices this apparent dearth has caused. Has Tamiya quit stamping out 1/12 kits as they were a few years back? I'm mostly interested in the 6...

HLJ, Hiroboy shipping?
Does anyone know aprox how long it takes to receive an in-stock kit shipped to the states from HB and HLJ? Also, looking for a specific Fujimi Porsche 917 kit and neither of these two have it...who else should I try other than ebay?

Curious about the Lotus 102D
I've always been curious as to why the Tamiya Lotus 102D is more pricey than the other Tamiya 1/20 F1 cars...since it was first released it seems like. Not that it's prohibitive at all, I've just always wondered. Anyone have an idea?

Alex,wow, that Maserati is gorgeous...I'll check out your WIP right away. Manu, it's on the MAFMA site..(http://www.mafma.com/profil24.htm) You don't see subjects such as the Alan Mann P68 , Peugeot SP66 or Lotus XI Le Mans in this scale everyday,huh? Thanks for your insight guys! CB

Hey guys-What are your opinions ,either from experience or second hand knowledge, of the Profil 1/24 kits? Quality, ease of build, accuracy,etc. I was impressed with their variety.
