Re: Porsche 911GT2 Gulf
That looks amazing!! Personally, I'd be nervous putting my finished work on that ledge - looks like a big drop!!

Re: Austin GP
I looked at one site's data that was showing the average high temperature in Austin in June to be 91.2 degrees (using data from 1930 - 2010). The same site also says June is the second wettest month of the year. All I can say is, it's gonna be sticky . . .

Re: Decanting Tamiya TS paints
To a large extent, the airbrush/rattle can argument comes down to personal preference. I've just moved to using an airbrush and although the cleaning is a pain in the neck, I find the ease of use, precision and the results to be much better in the long run. However, what puzzles me is why does anyo...

Particularly this bit, I thought: :? Confused? You will be... Edit: just noticed, I'm now a backmarker! Obviously driving for Team Lotus, not HRT or Virgin! You should get a bonus rank for the Soap reference ;) But yes, in James' example, everyone but the lead car could use it - see pictures...

Re: Chinese GP 2011 - spoilers inside!
Back to DRS: If driver A follows driver B at less than a second but then driver C follows driver B at less than a second too... who can use DRS? Been wondering about that one myself, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on t'internet. My best guess is only Driver C, but that could be wrong, t...

Re: Decanting Tamiya TS paints
I find it easier to decant the entire can not with a straw, but with some plumbing supplies. A needle valve setup (used to pierce existing copper lines to route water to, say, a refridgerator's water dispenser) and some hose clamps to hold it to the can, plus some tubing to route to the collector ja...

Re: Chinese GP 2011 - spoilers inside!
I will recant my statement about Massa's pit exit - I've watched it again, and he did cut the inner line, but not the line separating the pit exit from the track. As stated earlier, a number of cars were doing that, including Vettel. As for the DRS question - I know they're now saying that there was...

Re: Chinese GP 2011 - spoilers inside!
But the one thing I want to know is why didn't Ferrari get busted for there actions on the track? Alonso opening up his DRS in the non DRS zone and Massa crossing over the Pit Exit line. This is driving me crazy as well - I hate to sound like the FIA/Ferrari conspiracy theorist, but it always seems...

Re: Dupont 2k clears....
Yup, all 2Ks including Zero. Not sure about the rattle can one, though.drledford93 wrote:Well, at the risk of sounding stupid, are all 2ks like this? What about other urethanes like U-Pol (It's a 1k urethane in a rattle can.), and Zero 2K?
