Re: Hachette F1 1/24th scale Championship models

Here is a link with photos showing the 1/24th Hachette Ferrari 375 F1 and Ferrari 500 F1 with USCP 1/24th Mercedes SLR wire wheels. They are perfect, although the 16 inch Testa Rossa wheels will work for the inside laced 500 F1 rear wheels better, although they did use the outside laced wires at som...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024

I have the Meng Mclaren MP4/4 1988 in 1/24th scale. It is very well done; I think much better than the Meng GT40 kit. I would rate this kit between the old Rosso 643 1/24th kit and one of the latest Tamiya 1/20th kits. The brakes, engine and wheels are all pretty accurate looking and the decals, alt...

Re: Hachette F1 1/24th scale Championship models

Latest 1/24th model from Hachette is the Wolf. This one looks really nice, and you can also do the regular colors with decals from Indycals in 1/24th scale. Hachette is really cranking out the Ferrari F1 model in 1/24th also. Just released the 1952 Ferrari F2 500. Very nice other than the wire wheel...

Re: Video of the Meng 1/24 McLaren MP4/4

I don't understand Japanese. From the image, the author is comparing the body of the Meng kit to that of the Gunze kit. It looks like they are almost the same in dimension. This indicates that both kits are correct. The Gunze is a motorized kit with no details and the floor and suspension are not v...

Re: Video of the Meng 1/24 McLaren MP4/4

Looks very nice. Should go together really nicely with the 1/24th Hachette 1980's F1 turbo cars. This hardly looks like the Gunze kit at all, other than to a blind man. Hachette and Studio 27 made models of this car curbside.

Re: Hachette F1 1/24th scale Championship models

If you order these to just display and not modify, they can be very nice. But it depends on the model you order. The 1970-1990 cars are mostly amazingly detailed. The late cars due to license are done by Burago (post 2019), which although they are much better than the old Burago are not nearly as go...

Re: Hachette F1 1/24th scale Championship models

Looks like you can get the 1/24th Ferrari collection from Deagostini in many countries now including the USA. By the way, the 1/24th Minardi M191 is out, and it is a really well done model with rain tires. http://www.automodellando.it/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=23557&whichpage=88 https://www.deago...

Re: Sauber C22, Revell, 1/24

Hachette has the Sauber 2004 C23 coming out next month in 1/24th. It would look nice next to this model.

That 1/12th Stratos might be nice. Also this little gem :)
