I don't see any issue with the finished model. Revell's 1/24 F1 is sort of a miss or hit. Some of them are quite good while some of them are really bad.

Yours is a well built EJ10. The yellow is stunning.

From the photos, it looks like the mesh over the engine intakes have a layer of transparent material on it. Am I seeing something not there?
