Re: Hey I entered something at a contest!!
Congratulations for winning a medal! And thank you for sharing the pictures. My personal favourite of your cars is the Tyrrell, closely followed by the ATS D4. I wonder if the jury had ever seen some of these cars before in their life. I mean McLaren's or Ferrari's are a more common sight. But an AT...

Re: 1/20 scale Lotus 63 resin kit
I also bought one of them, as it is probably the only chance to get all the Gold Leaf Lotus F1 cars in 1/20th scale. Yes, a very demanding kit. You have to put some work into it, if you want to make it a good looking car. But there are many good reference pictures available at motorsportimages.com h...

Re: Scanning white decals to cut with Silhouette
I had a similar problem, when I wanted to make masking templates for the Revell Williams FW19: White decals on white carrier. I solved the problem by cutting out the white decals along the edge of the decals and placing them on an orange piece of paper for the scan. 20240408_142950.jpg Surely not th...

1/20 Tamiya - Williams FW11
Some time ago I had started a new build. Tamiya's Williams FW11 from the 1986 season, that I would like to build in a late season version. Tamiya's kit represents the first round of the season, so a couple of modifications were required. First of all, I took care of the suspension box at the front. ...

Re: Finishers 1/20 Jordan Yamaha 192
Incredible how much work you had to put in this car. But it was worth the effort. It looks fantastic and your choice of colours fits very good. Which colours have you used for the red and the two shades of blue? For my studio27 transkit I intend to use a bottle of zero paints brilliant blue similar ...

Re: Larrousse Lola LC90 sponsor help needed
Good news and bad news... The good news: The company is called Rhône-Poulence. The bad news: They even had advertising inside the cockpit because of the onboard camera: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bW-qs0nYpbQ&pp=ygUVTGFycm91c3NlIGZyYW5jZSAxOTkw Why did they use four logos on Bernards car? If a...

Re: MMP Co. Ltd. - Ebbro bankruptcy
Really sad. I liked their choice of subjects very much. :( I hope Tamiya takes over the moulds. After all Tamiya and Ebbro had been working closely together. For example: I can not imagine that - let's say - Fujimi takes over the moulds for the Lotus 33, and get's the additionaly required moulds for...

Fantastic work!
The red looks great. Especially if you compare it with the dull red on the first picture.
You really brought that car back to live.

Re: 1/20 1989 'grid'
That livery turned out really nice.
Personally I prefer the 1990 version, when Onyx/Monteverdi use green instead of pink. Unfortunately the Team was close to it's end at that point.

Re: Help please - S27 BAR 007 Japan GP
Do you know about other versions of this car? Sometimes there are parts that are not required for a particular version. For example: S27 released two versions of the Tyrrell 026: The early car with tower wings, and the late car without. I built the late car, but still got the endplates for the tower...
