The idea is that you double up each white decal.
It stops the dark grey showing through.
IE makes the white more whiterer.

Indycals does say this on his website right under the pic of the decals.............

I agree his FW14b is amazing. He is also the first person I have seen that has glued the top of the nose to the monocoque before painting, and managed to fit out the cockpit afterwards.

I would not recommend TB decals.
Mine came poorly packaged, which had broken the decals and they did not even respond to e-mails.
Would never buy from them again.
