Re: Decals for 1/20 Williams FW07 British GP 1980
As someone who was there that day, sitting on the bank at Druids, I can confirm that AJ's win was at least very popular with the crowd! I don't remember it being much of a battle between the Ligiers and the Williams's though. My hazy memory recalls that the Ligiers disappeared into the distance at a...

Re: Any members of Buyee? (Outside EU or UK)
Hi Sean,
Buyee is a proxy buying service for Japanese Yahoo auctions and other sites, rather than an auction site itself.
It's unclear to me from your message if you are looking for a UK member or one outside of the UK. If you are looking for a UK member I am one.
Regards

Very nice work Thomas!
I'd be interested in a set when you have them available for sale.

Re: Pirelli tyres sizes '82-'91 ?
Hi Gilles,
According to dlg.speedfreaks.org.
......... Front......Rear
1984 - 255/620 400/655
1985 - 255/620 400/655
1987 & 1988 - no teams used Pirellis in F1.
Couldn't find any data for tyre sizes in '89,'90 or '91...
Hope this helps!

Great work, looks really nice!
Was the 3D model your own work or did you download it from somewhere else?

Ah! I was concentrating so much on the E/3 question that I totally missed the C/G issue! Nice spot Thomas!

Re: Help, please, for 2 logos of Alfa 179
Hi Gilles, These two decals have cost me a lot of time researching them, as I'm trying to backdate a 1980 179 into the 1979 version. I have been unable to find anything useful online despite extensive digging and have finally decided to make them myself! The first point I'd make is that the ones on ...

Re: MULTIMEDIA Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
You are correct Bjorn. The cars that tried to qualify for the 1979 Spanish and Belgian GPs were WK1/004 and 005. They were more conventional in appearance than the test versions offered by Wolf, but not a lot faster and certainly very unreliable! After Belgium the team disbanded and the last chassis...

Re: William FW15C possible conversion
I would also think that the FW16 is a better starting kit for a FW15C than the FW14B, although you might need to use bits of both! The FW14B and FW15C had an identical wheelbase whereas the FW16's is an inch larger - not terribly significant at 1/20 scale. The sidepods of the FW15C and FW16 are very...

Re: Tamiya Brabham BT46 Alfa Romeo with driver Niki Lauda 1/20 scale
Nice work!
Very clean build and you've done a great job in making those horrible kit tyres look right. I'm a big fan of including figures in the build, some say it makes it look 'toy-like' but not when the figure looks as good as your Niki, well done!
