Re: THE CHESSINGTON POST (memories of a Brabham builder)

Hi James, great to see this post reactivated! Once you are steaming down the Brabham straight, would look forward to see the BT56 feature here as well!

Re: BAR Honda 006 (Tamiya FW24 conversion)

After a long break (moving homes, new family member, ie lots of distraction!) I finally picked up on my conversion project again, concentrating on the rear wing and engine cover. The FW24 provides a decent basis, but the 2004 aero and components are just a lot more "generous", hence a need...

Re: Anyone seen this before... with the microscope?

Great, thanks for the responses, I feel there is no (modelling) topic that this forum would fail to respond to... Yes some parts will be a bit rough, but careful sanding should make it allright. Will post more pictures when I come to open the box and start it, first a kit twice the size to finish (c...

I remember this was the case in the US in the late 90s/early 2000s, where for example the Penske cars w...

Re: Mercedes W11 Wheelbase

The 3726 measure is consistent with the record of the W09 in the final book of Giorgio Piola (no need to highly recommend I guess!) - which features a nice article on wheelbases. The Merc increased to this all the way from 3411 in 2015. Piola works with Hughes on the F1.com articles so would take th...

Wow, that looks amazing! I have always liked the narrow nose over the later version of the RB5 (and RB6), congratulations on a great build!
