Don't think you can judge it from this photo. Meng monocoque looks straight, but Tamiya's is distorted, imho.
You need to have both in your hands. 2D photos will distort prospective and proportions.

You have good eye for shapes and you do your own 3D models. What is your opinion on accuracy of Meng MP4/4 body shapes ?
Assumption beeing that Tamiya 1/20 kit has correct body shapes.

Not we need to see a mock up and 1.20 Tamiya beside to access it shape wise
