Re: MP4/26 launch live

The side pod openings ridiculous inverted L shape head on. Why do I keep thinking they're airboxes that have fallen off... oh the M23?  What immediately pops into my mind - McLaren should produce a video that transforms the M23 to the MP4/26 like Red Bull did with their "Vettel expl...

Re: What was your first F1 model kit?

1/20 P34 in the late 70's. My sister, 2.5 years my junior, followed me into F1 modeling, and picked up the M23. Then I got the Lotus 78, 312T3 and BT46 and she got the Wolf. The JS11 was the only one we didn't comprimise on and both had to get. Her enthusiasm soon found other channels and I continue...

Re: USF1 -Interesting Read

Fun read. Thanks for sharing. Funny that he just HAD to squeezed in a couple paragraphs about the other sex (disclaimer: I'm a male.) His keen observation about women at the check-out is dead on. (My wife is not among said group, I'm glad to report.) In my book, that just gives him extra credence to...

Re: Speed Build: Hasegawa 1/20 312T2

Thank you for the build diary.
Great skills. Following with anticipation.
My T2 arrived at the door yesterday.
Among all the new 1/20 releases in recent times, this is my first purchase.

Re: F2001(another one)

Fine, fine looking F2001. You make it look good. Seeing the super detailed kits here are always eye opening, and somewhat intimidating at times. But seeing such a nice out of the box build serves as an inspirational reminder that we can all enjoy putting together a decent kit with no less enjoyment ...

Re: Mercedes GP

Welcomed news to me, from one singular perspective at least.
IMHO, the Brawn car was certainly the worst liveried (with special
thanks to 2009 FIA design specifications too) championship winning
car since the advent of advertising on F1 cars.

Re: Hasegawa Lotus 79 (1/20th)

I never thought this day would come! Even with all the recent releases from Fujimi and Hasegawa, I'm seeing nothing but red. Really didn't see this coming! Dare I hope for a BT49 or BT52 in their pipelines as well? But you know what? Before I've even seen the model mock up or box art, I'm already th...
