Use warm water, not too hot at first. Try to increase water temp, if it doesn't bend. I would not use open fire ;-)

- base Tamiya 102D kit
- decal set from S27 + various self made ALPS decals
- S27 brake set and PE set
- some small bits scratch built or CAD constructed and 3D printed here and there

After several years working on and off, I finally finished my triple Lotus project. 1990 Lotus 102 Lamborghini (Japan GP) - scratch build using mostly a Tamiya 102B kit - decal set from S27 + various self made ALPS decals - S27 brake set - Lambo engine and front suspension pickups constructed in CAD...

Thanks for the comments. There can't be many chassis types that have run three different engines can there? There even was a Lotus 102C equipped with an Isuzu F1 engine. Only some tests were run, but not many pictures can be found. is the rest of the Lotus 102 conversion available in printable 3D? (...

After another break I'm trying to complete this project soon. So here's the current progress: Some parts are printed on my new 3D DLP printer, which is really awesome... Very nice and clean! For some reasons the Tamiya 102D kit is missing the correct electronic parts on top of the gearbox. But you filled the gap ;-)
