I just discovered a huge time saver when building the perfect parts brake disc set. I am building the 12th scale McLaren MP4/6. I finished the rear disks a few weeks ago and was not looking forward to starting the fronts. Building the hub nuts takes a long time using the PE nut/washer and a pin. There are 8 per disc. This past week I received my first order from Scale Hardware. I had to guess what size would work for 12th scale. One of the items I ordered was the 1.2mm hex nut with stud, nickel plated brass, #SMHN-12-N. They work great with the PP disc. There is enough of the stud sticking through the back that I could use the pe washer and nut. Instead of over 2 hours to build the disc, I took about an hour for both front discs. Hope this helps any of you with this add on for the McLaren or the Ferrari 641-2. I think sizes 1.0, 1.2, & 1.4mm would work best in 12th scale.
