I thought it was about time I joined this forum as I've been watching it closely for my current build, tamiya mclaren Mp4/4. I will post pictures when finished but until then I thought I would share some of my old model kits.
I guess its better to post pictures as individuals rather than add all at once with different models.
This model was made in 1992 and has seen better days, yellowed etc, but it had scratch build wiring & plumbing and I photocopied the tobacco markings and scaled on a photocopier the cut them out as individuals on letratone (letraset).
Mclaren orange was with transfers. I plan to strip down & redo at some stage in the future. Wiring was with telephone wire, stripped and pull wire to achieve hole at other end then glued onto spigot.
I know its a bit rough but thought I'd share anyway.
