Hi Eric,

I write you because Juan Luis from Spotmodel suggested it.

When I post my pictures, they don't appear as pictures showing only an icon. It is not happening in another forum "Miniruedas". But if I open them in another tab, they appear. I understand it is something related to the security but I don't know how to manage the Google Chrome to avoid that issue. It seems the problem doe snot appear in Firefox.

Thanks!!

Try again when you get home.. Also can you send me an email (to f1m@f1m.com) from your home PC?  If you can find it, include the PC's IP address...  I'm wondering if you're getting blocked b/c of a security system I'm using that blocks access from PCs that may have been infected or compromised...

Everything was working great until yesterday afternoon (i was even logged in in the morning and everthing was fine).

I cleared the Cach, history, and all Cookies from my browser (firefox), I was not able to log into www.f1m.info but I was able to log into  www.ericaitala.com.  The PC I'm using is hooked up wirelessy to my home network, my smart phone is also on the same Wi-Fi signal and I was able to access from my phone (on the same network).  Could it be specific to my pc?

Thanks,

Vince

I actually made a big change a day or so ago - had to disable Cloudflare -which might have blocked you. There was some sort of problem and it killed the whole site. Eric

I've stayed silent about this for a few weeks, deleted my browser history and cookies, flushed my DNS, even brought my

PC to my Hardware guy and of course as soon as I mention something, the problem seems to fix itself.

Isn't that always the way??

Thank you and sorry for wasting your time...

Hmm.. what happens when you try to access the site?  Does it never open, do you get a warning page from Cloudflare, or what?

Normally, I'd say its a cookie issue, but if it persists across several browsers that would not make sense.

Can you tell me the IP Address of your home system(s)?  It may have gotten blocked.

Also, let me know if you can get to www.f1m.info and www.ericaitala.com - those are also on the same server...

Thanks,

Eric

Okay, there's probably nothing you can do about it but I'm going to post this anyway as it's driving me

crazy.  I can't access this site from my computers at home, but can from work.  It must be a setting on

my end but the ONLY site that continuosly fails to open is this one. I'm using Firefox, but have tried it

with IE, Chrome, and tonight I'll try with opera.  Any ideas?  I'd much rather have the site running

from my home PC's obviously :(

Eric, I have the similar problem that I am logged in but can't post in the forums, and "not authorised" to

change my password.  Can you email me a link to reset my password please??  And also let me know if you

still need help with moderating.

Thanks

Thanks Eric,

You're right, I was logged in the home page. But getting in the Forum area, I was asked to log again to post or get to my messages and my password wasn't recognized. I was asked to renew it but wasn't autorised to do it. Confusing...

The link you sent me to edit my profile did work and everything seems alright now.

Thanks again, I really appreciate your concern

Eric,

Same situation as jtracing: I have to reset the password but it's not permitted to do so... And I can't get my messages done since 2007... What I need for paying kits I bought from another member.

MacOs 10.6.7

Safari 5.0.5

Please note that it seemed OK until 2 days ago...

Thanks,

*whoo-hoo* it's reached my home at last! And this is officially the longest I remained logged in for some time now at home.

Life is gooood - thanks a lot for all the effort, Eric!

Login problem solved now thanks. No need to log back in again. The forum remembers me being logged in each time.

As for cars, well if the site will be blue, it could be Tyrrell, or Sauber ?

Both are quite popular teams, and dont polarize people like, say Ferrari ;)

I had to change the DNS setting for f1m.com and f1m.info and its taking a while to propagate across the internet...

Hi Eric,

Moved to a new dimension for me now. My home PC cannot connect to F1M at all (main site or forum shortcut).

Before this, I had big probs logging in, specifically from my home PC. During that period I got a couple of errors saying your software (I presume FW software) sees me as malicious and is trying to block me. Re-opening a browser session usually fixed it - I presumed it was related to the login issues.

For the last couple of days I simply cannot acces the site from home. I simply get a page not found error. Any ideas? (Have refreshed page, same error. Cleared cache, can do so again if that's what you'd suggest...)

Cheers

I'm running the same setup and have no problems... odd.

Not sure about the Forum theme, I need to do some more important things first.  I may just change the site theme to blue.  Any suggestions on cars to feature in the logo?

Hi

I can login with no problem, but I have to login again every five minutes, despite clicking on the "keep me signed in" checkbox.

Running 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1 (6534.50)

Otherwise its working nice.

Will the forum have a nice green scheme to fit in with the rest of the site ? :)

This logging in issue is getting a bit frustrating. I tried the suggested method several times.

I'm still always shown as logged in on the main page.

If I try to log in on the forum I get :

You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to solve the CAPTCHA below.
even on the first login attempt.

Hi Eric,

I can log in but it usually the site logs me off within short while (maybe 5 minutes?). I've looked around for a setting option that allows to leave me to remain logged in for longer and cannot find one. Maybe "Male Blindness" or perhaps there is no option? I do log on from my partners computer in the house (this is from my office computer) so I'm not sure what role that has to play, but these issues occur when the other computer is in sleep mode anyway.

This is posted from Apple OSX10.4 Firefox 3.6.19

btw i've tried clearing history cookies etc and still keep getting elbowed off after a short while.

Cheers,

Terry
