I hadn't seen this thread before.
Incredible what you are doing here. Doing these exhausts would drive me crazy!

The exhaust pipes look fantastic (as does everything else) - the pipe bending seems like it would be quite challenging to get right but you have mastered that technique!

Wow, bending those exhausts is impressive, every time I have tried this it does not work very well!

Next step on the to do list is the scratch build of the exhaust system.
1973rd exhausts are different to the 1970 and 1974 and 1975 cars, but identical to the 1971 and 1972. At my '71st, '72nd and '74th Ferraris I made them by bending copper cables, making silicon forms and cast them in resin.
I still had the resin exhausts from the 312 B2 '71 and '72, but now I liked to try another way of making them.
3mm styrene bars were heated by a 300 Watt hot air fan until they were soft and bent to the right shape. There are only few seconds left before styrene gets hard again, so you have to hurry, but later on the pipe is correctible by heating only small sectors.DSC_0022.JPGFinished parts are temporary fixed with tape.DSC_0021.JPGDSC_0009.JPGDSC_0010.JPGDSC_0008.JPGDSC_0006.JPG

Guys, is this a 312B that might be released in 1/12 scale? It looks more like a B2 version. Close to the version Protar did release back then.

These Thundervalley F1 detail sets are for their respective Tamiya 1:12 kits.

I will ship anywhere. The buyer is responsible for shipping and fees as well as any import duties/VAT/other taxes (if applicable).

All payments via Paypal or Venmo. Prices are in US Dollars.

All sets are new and the bags have never been opened. TVF1 no longer makes or sells these sets. I've set prices specific for my fellow forum members. These are worth much more on the open market.

Considering the surrounding table(s) this rather looks like a personal project.

At 9.36 in the video you can see a pan of a 3D printed prototype. Next to it is also a truck prototype.
It appears as if this is from a company (as opposed to an individual) so perhaps it is a up-coming model?

I do't know this company and my Googling has not revealed anything.

I agree, I think of myself as a model builder. I have no interest in putting a few pre finished parts together just so I can get something finished. The fun for me is building. I'm not knocking 3D printing etc, it's another tool to use but I don't want to end with a 'shake and make' kit. Where's the challenge?Have to agree with Christian. 3D printed models are a far cry from "Shake and Make". You must be thinking of Tamiya kits that you have built so many of!

3D printed models give the builder a completely different set of challenges over plastic or even resin models.

If one can not use the term "model builder" after completing a 3D printed model then the term should never be used for this hobby

Now let's get back on topic!!

That’d be welcome
Honestly I didn’t remember the 1/20 hybrid, but so, meant the 1:12.
Thought the only hybrid was the T4
Well whatever you can supply I’ll be grateful
