Nice project you started here, i will have it on my watch list!
Decals should not be a problem especially when you have a tameo sheet in stash. Still know a good company for such things, print quality is pretty good and they can also do the design.
If you have trouble with getting such decals let me know and i send you a link to their hompage.

Helped a retiring modeler by taking 3 1/12 Tamiya bikes (still looking to replace my Fiat Yamaha '08 for $25...lol), the 2019 Toyota LM car and Sullivan's Miller Penske off his hands for cheap... He helped me by donating a bunch (a bunch) of Tamiya X, XF and Laquer paints plus some odds and ends of Zero paints..). Donating the Toyota and one of the bikes to a friend and his son. The son is a magician with these kits.

Questions • Re: F1 car with a crooked decal?

F1M Forums - Wed, 09/28/2022 - 10:52
Is that really crooked. It seems to be deliberate since both cars are the same on both right an left sides. It appeared already at the Holland GP.

It's interesting as, earlier in the season they were nice and straight verticaly but late season: not so much. But the original question by Eric begs a similar question that I have always had of whether or not teams use laser levels or some such thing not only to keep markings straight but also for centering. Every time I apply a number decal to the nose of a kit, i phsyc myself out trying to get it centered and having shadow and light play havoc with me.In that era, all the decal/stickers were hand applied using the TLAR method. Laser levels had not been invented yet, but I know you will probably get dinged at a contest if everything is not square unless you provide evidence(like this photo) of dicrepancies.

By the way TLAR stands for That Looks About Right!

Those just might be 333SP switches, but very early to tell for sure.

How the RS4 engine was used in that season was discussed a few pages before, it not only run from Hungary till the end of season, it was also used several times before in Qualifying too.

Well, the Tyrrell cars never had any good sticker placement.
The P34 is a good example, with the yellow stripe crowding the "elf" ahead of it.
And the Jackie Steward era also had the "elf" stickers also applied at random sides.

But never crooked though.
