Hi all!

Does anyone from you have an actual email contact of Claudio Villa (brand Villa model)?

If yes, I would be happy if you send me a PM with the information...

Many thanks in advance for your feedback / PM !

It is still possible to order and 3D print the new gearbox from https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/ ... nd-gearbox . It is disassembled into many parts and is more accurate than the Tamiya. However, the scale needs to be changed, because the starting point is about 1/8

Hmm, does anyone have an insight (connections with distributors) to explain the delays we are seeing? If I had to guess the delay is due to getting the kits out of the manufacturing facilities. Which may be China?

I don`t think we will see it this year, but hopefully 23!We have a winner!
Good prediction mate, it`s becoming a real joke, i would not be surprised if the price will change also due to endless delays and rising costs.

Just noticed on Hobby Easy site that Lotus 99 is now delayed another month. 1-20-23.Does this qualify it as a new for 2023 plastic kit?
Maybe there should be a new category. Most delayed kit release?
....... It would be a neck and neck race between beemax and Ebbro

The "C" tree is the same for all 1/12 Tamiya F1 with the V8 Cosworth engine, with the exception of the Lotus 49 and 49B.Not quite. The engine parts may be the same, but the gearbox halves for the 003 are unique. The round side plates for the gearbox are molded in, while most other kits have holes in the sides that accept different plates, depending on brake caliper mounting. This may or may not be an issue for Joachim, but beware: all sprue C are not created equal.Fortunately I have the gearbox of the Lotus

Most logos do not use standard fonts. And even if there is a font out there, for something like this, drawing it from scratch is probably faster than searching endlessly for the perfect font.

Hello Wim,
Thank you very much for your replies
You have found directly the good shape , which needs only small adjustments

I take the opportunity to ask you a question about the possiblity of this 956 decoration at 1/24 scale : it does not exist , would you release it please ?

Thank you for all
Bye
Gilles

Questions • Re: Decal 1/20 Jordan 194, where to get???

F1M Forums - Mon, 12/05/2022 - 10:50
Hi James,

I am sorry that I hadn't checked into F1M sooner and seen your post and kind PM.
Great News to hear back from you Sir and you are Ready to Go for this and we need your creativeness and input to continue, i suppose we inspire one another with our interest in our hobby, if you can somehow get the decals to me you'll be pushing me on to get this done
Well reality is as you say, you are my only hope and I won't find them elsewhere, I did contact Spot Model and they do a print service but no manufacture service, you also make the point of upscaling can result in bad images, can't say how Pattos came to 1/20 scale but they were very poor clarity, sh1tty lettering to the smaller sponsors etc, so could have been an upscaled set from 1/43 for example...

Well, I am working on a mid/late season version with double barge boards, airbox/engine cover cut out post Senna and Ratzenberger crashes, black at the top of the engine cover, I had forgotten about Barrichello's Pole in Spa that year but if you've already done some work on this then that would do the job very nicely.

I look forwars to hearing back from you James and I will check in sooner next time

Thanks very much,
dede

Hello,

Bad news indeed, I think he was one of the last real gentleman driver, when the F1 started to be more and more professional, I always liked his way to comment on tv and radio as well.

Cheers
