Looks like Ebbro has shown off its new Tyrrells at the Nürnberg Toyfair...
Happy New Year everyone!!! Wishing all a great and prosperous 2013.
EBBRO, known for it's die cast cars and motorcycles, is now producing 1:20 scale plastic Formula 1 car kits. Their first two kits are now in stock: Team Lotus Type 72C 1970. This is the factory entry car. Item number EB 20-001. $59.95 retail.
I have eagerly purchased every "new" release from Fujimi, including many (if not all) of the subsequent variants but the new marketing strategy goes too far. To be clear, I was ecstatic when Fujimi released the first Ferrari 126 and I have been grateful for each and every new release..... Until now.
The assembly instructions for the "new" Sauber C30 Monaco are now up at Hobby Search and the "new" Monaco kit not only has an engine but it has sidepod ducts and radiators (all of which are conspicuously absent from the initial release -- but with the benefit of hindsight must have been designed when the kit was first designed).
Congratulations to Red Bull Racing and Sebastian Vettel for their third consecutive Formula One Constructors' and Drivers' Championships.

I presume this is in the same style and series as the 1/12 Enzo. I hope this means they are following their semi-assembled diecast series and a Ferrari 288 GTO is coming as well.

There is a strong rumor in Japan that FUJIMI MOKEI will produce SAUBER FERRARI C31 model kit, 1/20th scale, full kit, in MAY 2013. This way, the announcement will be made soon. We have to wait and see...
