Fujimi's McLaren MP4/2 kit cancelled

...... the fact they haven't release anything brand new in a few months doesn't mean anything at this stage. Their last new kit was only released in December 2013!
Maybe Fujimi gave up on the MP4/2 because they realised there's wasn't as good as the Aoshima, who knows?
I would give it a bit more time before bringing out the doom and gloom predictions.

My hopes are you're right and I'm totally wrong and finally Fujimi will contradict my fears very soon by releasing new kits ...
but the facts let me remain Tamiya stopping all production during 4 years after RE30B / BT50 releases, and coming back with 99T kit ....

Hey, I proposed a governing body months ago. Something to prevent dual releases. But Terry's right. Some manufacturers would still release overlapping subjects anyway.

What a bad idea for us!! This would give each manufacturer a monopoly on that particular car. Without competition the prices would skyrocket. Sorry this is a bad idea if thought through, in my opinion.

...As I was involved in much of the real vehicle research at McLaren Technology Centre I can tell you we had full access to all three MP4/2 variants over two full days photography and measurement. You can read into that what you want....
